School Boundaries & Program Placements
2024-25 Map My School Tool
District 15 is excited to share its new Map My School Tool which allows families to type in their home address to see where their "home school" assignment is on the updated boundary map.
*Please keep in mind that the Map My Schools Tool may not reflect school assignments due to programmatic placement. To view the full list of schols by bus tier, along with the programmatic placement at each school, click on the Bus Tiers and Program Placements tab below. The Map My School Tool shows a student’s home school assignment based on their address.

School Time Schedule
Arrival/Departure Procedures
- All incoming/outgoing cars should come up Clyde (one street east of the school on Palatine Rd) as Harrison is reserved for buses and day care vans. We have a staff member directing traffic at both arrival and dismissal and appreciate you following this person's direction.
- School starts at 8:25am. Supervision begins at 8:15am which is the time students may enter the building. Students will be marked tardy if they are not in their seats, ready for the day, at 8:25am.
- If you arrive late (and it happens), please bring your student into the office to sign him/her in.
- Parents should remain in their car when their student(s) exit the vehicle. For safety reasons, students should enter/exit on the passenger side. Staff are out and available to assist.
- Please do not leave your car unattended in the drop off /pick up lane at any time.
- If you decide to park in a parking lot and walk your student(s) to the door, you must escort your student through the lot. No student should walk without an adult through the parking lot.
- Some of our students require extra time to load and unload from their vehicle. Thank you for your patience with this.
- School parking lots are cell phone free zones. Thank you for staying off of your devices while on school grounds (and when driving in general).
- Any changes in your child's transportation plan should be brought to the attention of the classroom teacher and the office staff in writing or by calling the school office at least 30 minutes prior to the end of the school day.
Thank you for your efforts to keep yours and all of our students safe.
Report an Absence: 847-963-5501
Our first concern when a child is absent is to verify the child’s safety. For that reason, it is very important that the school office knows the whereabouts of your child(ren) when they are absent or will be late arriving at school. When your child is absent or late, it is your responsibility to call the school absence line or the school office to notify the staff of your child’s absence. Please state your child’s full name, the teacher’s name, the date of the absence, and the reason for the absence. Please do not leave this information on your child’s teacher’s voice mail or e-mail. Substitute teachers do not have access to teachers’ voice-mail or e-mail.
If your child’s whereabouts are unknown, every effort will be made to reach you using the phone numbers you have provided. Please make sure that your child’s school office has all current phone numbers on record. If you have not notified the school with the reason of an absence and the school office has exhausted all attempts to reach you, your child will be marked truant for that school day and any other school day that your child is unaccounted for.
More more information about the District student absence policy, tardies, leaving during the school day, vacations, mental health support days, and truancy, please visit the District 15 Student Absence Policy:

Health care provided in the school health office is to support your child, allowing students to return to their classrooms. The nurse is available to work in collaboration with your child's primary healthcare provider. If you require assistance in obtaining a primary healthcare provider, please reach out to the health office for a list of community resources.
Nurses positively affect student attendance. A registered nurse at school every day allows for prompt and professional responses to health concerns and medical issues. In the event of illness or accidents, the nurse provides emergency care.
Responsibilities of the nurse include first aid and illness care, the maintenance of student health records, the development of healthcare plans, and screenings for student vision and hearing needs. Parents/guardians are encouraged to bring questions about immunizations, health exams, medications, or student health needs to the nurse.
The Health Services staff believes family is an essential part of good health. Your input is valued and welcome. Please feel free to ask questions, share thoughts, and exchange health information. We look forward to partnering with you!
Questions? For more information about medication administration, individual health care plans, health exam forms/immunizations, and more, please contact your school nurse or visit the Health Services webpage.
PTA
Our strong PTA provides Marion Jordan with wonderful resources that greatly benefit our school. We understand that without the support of a strong parent community, our lofty goals and aspirations could not be met. We are always looking for volunteers at Marion Jordan. If you would like more information about how to get involved, please do not hesitate to contact the PTA office.
Facility Use
Thank you for your interest in our Facilities. Our buildings are valuable community assets and many civic and community groups use them for meetings and events. We are glad to accommodate these groups whenever we can.
If you choose to reserve space in our buildings, please keep in mind that fees may be charged to offset associated custodial costs. Any organization using district facilities must meet insurance requirements and have a current Certificate of Insurance on file with the District.
Visit Facility Rentals to reserve now
If you would like information about which space might be the most suitable for your use, or have other questions, please contact Jennifer Gillespie in our Facilities & Operations office, 847-963-3951, or gillespj@ccsd15.net.
In order to provide security for groups using the building outside of school hours, please:
- Enter and exit through the main entrance. A custodian will open the door for the adult supervisor prior to the activity.
- Have an adult supervisor remain at the door until all members of the group have arrived.
- Do not put any items in the door to block it open. The doors must remain locked at all times.
- Make sure that once your group has entered the building, all participants stay in the assigned area. An adult supervisor should accompany any child that needs to leave the assigned area.
- Have all coaches and group leaders inform parents of exclusion dates so that children are not dropped off on evenings when there is no activity.
- Sign the building use form provided by the custodian on duty.
In order to help maintain the building, please do not:
- Bounce or pass balls in the hallway
- Bring food and/or beverages into the lobby, hallways or gymnasium
- Bring chairs of any type into the gymnasium
We hope that your group activity is enjoyable. If there is anything we can do to assist you, please let us know.
